Easily Distracted

Thats what pretty much all my reports card said at school, at the age of 31 nothing has changed.
I was planning on visting the Jawa boulder this weekend, but ended up in Dumfries, so thought I'd turn my attentions to Nitro at the Thirlstane.

Morning started early and the tide was still in so I went to Clifton for a look and to start creating a good topo for the place, pretty much everything was wet and too dangerous without a mat, so just climbed Study Break and left.

Stopped off at Port O'Warren for a go on Fiends magnificent 1833 Traverse, which went 1st time surprisingly - I had climbed it in the past though.

Then instead of leaving and hitting the Thirlstane, I got stuck into an old project of mine. A hard dyno from ugly crimps on a really steep bit of the rock, hours passed by and after not even being able to pull on at first, I then managed that and started hanging the holds, then started making movements off of the holds and almost bagged it.... but its too hard just now. Next time maybe, or maybe the next time I should just go to the Thirlstane.
